LOS ANGELES – The JM Eagle LA Championship presented by Plastpro and SERVPRO are once again saying thank you to our nation’s first responders.

During competition rounds at El Caballero Country Club, all first responders, including fire, police and emergency medical technicians, as well as members of the military (active duty, reserve, retired and veterans) and their families will receive complimentary admission to the championship, all courtesy of SERVPRO. Eligible guests can redeem up to 4 grounds tickets.

In addition, they will be treated to a special hospitality venue on the tournament’s 10th hole, the SERVPRO Hero Outpost, where they will have unobstructed views of some of El Cab’s signature holes.

Robin Lopez, a retired law enforcement officer and big golf fan, has attended the tournament for several years. She said she appreciates SERVPRO’s support for those who have served.

“It’s actually really cool,” said Lopez. “It’s a nice sign of appreciation on their part and so we really appreciate it. That’s why we’re here…they create a great space.”

Lopez and a fellow retired law enforcement friend spent time on Thursday watching play throughout the course. However, they came with one specific goal in mind.

Both are big fans of fellow Los Angeles native Lizette Salas, and attended the tournament hoping to get her autograph, which they were able to accomplish.

“We were at the Hero Outpost and she had to cross right by, so she stopped and was kind enough to take pictures with us,” said Lopez. “We brought her pictures to get her to sign them for us. And she was very nice. She did that for us today.”

The SERVPRO Hero Outpost will be open throughout the weekend for all of our nation’s heroes to enjoy. A small token of appreciation for everything they do every day to support us.
