LOS ANGELES, April 9, 2026 – Entries are now closed for the 2026 JM Eagle LA Championship presented by Plastpro, Los Angeles’ premier LPGA Tour event that will boast an elite international field when 144 of the world’s best female professional golfers converge upon El Caballero Country Club, April 16-19, competing for a share of the $3.75 million purse, one of the largest on the LPGA Tour outside of major championships.

 

2025 AIG Women’s Open champion and World No. 6 Miyu Yamashita, last week’s Aramco Championship winner Lauren Coughlin and European Solheim Cup captain Anna Nordqvist headline the latest commitments into the tournament field.

 

They join a field that features 15 of the top-25 in the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings, including No. 3 Hyo Joo Kim, 2019 champion at Wilshire Country Club Minjee Lee (5), two-time champion Hannah Green (8), Lottie Woad (9), Sei Young Kim (10) Ruoning Yin (11), Lauren Coughlin (12), Haeran Ryu (13), Hye-Jin Choi (17), Akie Iwai (19), Chizzy Iwai (20), Andrea Lee (21), Brooke Henderson (22) and Maja Stark (23).

 

The world’s top-two ranked junior golfers in the AJGA junior golf rankings – Asterisk Talley (1) and Aphrodite Deng (2) – are entered into the field as sponsor invitations. Both will make their next tournament start at the JM Eagle LA Championship following competing at last week’s Augusta National Women’s Amateur at Augusta National Golf Club. Joining the field as the tournament’s third sponsor invitation is Chinese Taipei’s Yu-Sang Hou, a member of the 2018 NCAA National Championship team at the University of Arizona and currently competing full time on the Epson Tour in 2026. Hou, who finished T27 at the JM Eagle LA Championship in 2023, will make her 2026 LPGA Tour tournament debut.

 

The JM Eagle LA Championship will also feature a number of players who are UCLA and USC alums, including:

  • UCLA alums: Brianna Do, Alison Lee, Ryann O’Toole, Patty Tavatanakit, Lilia Vu
  • USC alums: Allisen Corpuz, Gabriela Ruffels and Lizette Salas

 

Several players competing in the championship have Los Angeles-area ties, including:

  • Los Angeles residents/natives: Camille Boyd (Yorba Linda), Briana Chacon (Whittier), Brianna Do (Lakewood), Alison Lee (Los Angeles), Andrea Lee (Hermosa Beach), Ryann O’Toole (San Clemente native), Gabriela Ruffels (Los Angeles), Lizette Salas (Azusa), Lilia Vu (Fountain Valley) and Rose Zhang (Irvine).

 

Salas will make her first start at the JM Eagle LA Championship since 2024 following a back injury. Alison Lee will make her LPGA Tour tournament return at the JM Eagle LA Championship, her hometown event, following maternity leave in 2025.

 

In total, the 144-player field currently features:

  • Three players who have been ranked No. 1 in the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings: Jin Young Ko, Ruoning Yin and Lilia Vu.
  • 21 major champions.
  • Four winners on the 2026 LPGA Tour season: Hannah Green, Mi Hyang Lee, Hyo Joo Kim and Lauren Coughlin.

JM Eagle Rebuilding Five Homes of Los Angeles Firefighters in 2026

Following the LA fires in 2025, JM Eagle donated a total of $6.5 million to support wildfire relief efforts in Los Angeles to multiple organizations, including the Los Angeles Firemen’s Relief Association, the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation, the California Fire Foundation and the Los Angeles Police Foundation to support Los Angeles firefighters and first responders with necessary gear and equipment and towards rebuilding communities affected by the fires.

 

JM Eagle is continuing to be a leader in the greater Los Angeles community in the LA wildfire rebuilding efforts. In 2026, JM Eagle donated a total of $1 million to rebuild five homes of Los Angeles firefighters and their families in Altadena, Calif. From supporting wildfire relief to uplifting the greater Los Angeles community, the Wangs align the tournament with a greater purpose.

For a third consecutive year, the entire tournament field of 144 players competing in the JM Eagle LA Championship presented by Plastpro will receive complimentary lodging accommodations throughout tournament week, courtesy of Walter and Shirley Wang. Each player will be offered first-class hotel accommodation along with complimentary VIP shuttle service to El Caballero Country Club throughout tournament week.

 

JM Eagle to Provide Complimentary Admission to Those Affected by the Eaton and Palisades Fires

Compliments of JM Eagle, those affected by the Eaton and Palisades Fires will receive complimentary grounds tickets during tournament competition rounds Thursday-Sunday, April 16-19 (up to four tickets per family). Tickets can be reserved in advance at www.JMEagleLAChampionship.com/tickets or onsite at the admissions gate at El Caballero Country Club during tournament week. Proper identification and proof of zip code will be required at the admission gate.

 

First Responders, Military and Their Families to Receive Complimentary Admission Courtesy of SERVPRO

All First Responders (fire, police and emergency medical technicians), as well as all members of the military (active, reserve, retired and veterans) and their families (up to 4 tickets) will receive complimentary admission to the JM Eagle LA Championship presented by Plastpro, courtesy of SERVPRO. All military and first responders also will have access to the SERVPRO Hero Outpost, an exclusive hospitality area overlooking the 10th green at El Caballero Country Club. Proper identification will be required for complimentary tickets as well as admission to the SERVPRO Hero Outpost.

 

Children under 18 to receive complimentary admission

Through the support of Walter and Shirley Wang, the tournament will continue to offer complimentary grounds passes to children under the age of 18 with a paid adult. Children under 18 and junior golfers will be invited to Junior Golf Day, taking place Saturday, April 18 on-site at El Caballero Country Club. As part of Junior Golf Day will be the Junior Golf Show, featuring a demonstration, clinic and a Q&A from an LPGA Tour professional on her experiences as a professional athlete on the LPGA Tour. Additional Junior Golf Day initiatives to be announced in the coming weeks leading up to the championship.

JM Eagle LA Championship presented by Plastpro

Celebrating its fourth year in 2026, the JM Eagle LA Championship presented by Plastpro returns to El Caballero Country Club while Wilshire Country Club, the tournament’s previous host, continues its multi-million-dollar renovation, for which JM Eagle has donated irrigation, drainage and water pipes. It is anticipated to return as host in future years after the comprehensive upgrade is completed.

 

The host of the 75th U.S. Girls’ Junior Championship in 2024, El Caballero is also a three-time LPGA Tour host (2002-2004), won by Hall-of-Famers Seri Pak and Annika Sorenstam.

 

Ingrid Lindblad captured her first LPGA Tour win in just her third start as an LPGA Tour professional at the 2025 JM Eagle LA Championship. Major Champion Hannah Green captured the event in 2023 and 2024 at Wilshire Country Club.
